Overnight guests planning to use a debit card upon check-in, should be aware that a hold will be placed on their account for the balance of their room rate and tax, as well as $100.00 per night for incidentals. While this is just a hold, on debit accounts the funds will show as being withdrawn. Upon check-out, any remaining funds will be immediately released, by the hotel. However, it may take 5 to 7 business days for that release to be reflected in your account, depending on the specific rules of your financial institution.

Our cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to your arrival. If you cancel outside of the 72 hours, there will be a one-time processing fee of $35. Any cancellations within the 72 hour window of arrival, you will forfeit your deposit.
Our check-in time is 3:00pm and our check-out time is by 11:00am. Guests arriving earlier than 3:00pm will be checked in as soon as their room becomes available. Guests checking out after 11:00am may incur a late checkout fee.
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room. Guests under 21 years must be accompanied by an adult.
An early departure fee of one night's room and tax applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date. Early departure from advance purchase reservations will result in the forfeiture of the entire deposit.
Overnight guest parking is a $15 per night, per vehicle. There is no additional fee for Valet parking.
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. Designated areas can be found adjacent to the hotel entrance. A $250 USD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the non-smoking policy.
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel caused by themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible.
Each guest room is provided with a complimentary safe deposit box for your convenience. Hotel management is not responsible for your personal belongings or valuables left behind in guest rooms.
Posted room rates are for double occupancy (two adults). Each additional adult up to the maximum occupancy for a room will result in a $25 per night increase. There is no increase for additional children up to maximum occupancy.
The maximum number of guests allowed in a Standard King room is three. While the maximum number of guests allowed in a Double Queen or King with Queen Sleeper is four. We do not offer rooms that exceed an occupancy of four guests. If the occupancy limit is exceeded, there will be a fee of $50 per person and individuals will be asked to leave.
“Quiet Hours” go into effect on the guest room floors from 11:00pm to 7:00am daily. During these hours we ask that all guests keep conversations and in-room activities at a volume that is respectful toward neighboring guests. Guests are more than welcome to enjoy the use of our lobby, while "Quiet Hours" are in effect on the guest room floors.
The hotel enforces a "one warning" policy for noise complaints. Should hotel staff intervene to stop in-room noise, a second during Quiet Hours, guests may be requested to depart the premise. All noise complaints which resulted in compensation to guests disturbed will be charged to the guest room whose noise caused the complaint.
In order to guarantee a comfortable and allergen-free environment for our guests, we respectfully decline the presence of pets in the hotel. We are happy to refer pet boarding facilities in our area that you may utilize during your stay. Documented service animals, however, are always welcome. Please call in advance so that we may assist with any specific needs you may have to make your stay more comfortable. Our staff may ask if the animal is required because of a disability. In addition, our staff may also ask what task or service the animal is trained to perform.
Please note that emotional support animals are not qualified as service animals under the ADA guidance.
The dress code at Beauport Hotel Gloucester and 1606 Restaurant & Oyster Bar is distinctly casual; however, some restrictions do apply. With the exception of our Birdseye Rooftop, shoes and a shirt are required throughout the rest of the hotel.
No outside alcohol is permitted to be brought into the hotel, as per Massachusetts liquor laws.
Our guest rooms, guest room floors, and Birdseye Rooftop are for registered hotel guests only. No parties are allowed in these spaces at any time. More than the standard occupancy is defined as a party.
While we attempt to give at least one warning before eviction and/or calling the police, this policy may be enforced without warning in order to protect other hotel guests. Criminal charges could be applicable.
Our Birdseye Rooftop Pool & Bar is accessible to adult guests, aged 21 years or older only. All guests will be required to show a 21+ ID and a Beauport Hotel wristband in order to gain entry to the Roof Level. The Rooftop is open seasonally from April 1st – October 31st.*
Our updated pool usage policy is in place with care for the overall safety and comfort of our guest community, as we maintain a spacious, comfortable, and controlled capacity to enjoy the rooftop pool.
We continue to warmly welcome children and families as our guests. During the summer season, we actively service our front Pavilion Beach front with beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach amenities. We are pleased to offer complimentary, shuttle service to Good Harbor Beach. We encourage our guest families to take advantage of Gloucester's local beaches, on-the-water attractions and children's activities during their stay.

Standard reservations are guaranteed with a deposit of first night's room and tax. Advance purchase reservations are guaranteed with a deposit of the entirety of the stay.
Gift certificates are valid for City View King or Double Queen room types unless otherwise specified. If no room type is specified on the face of the certificate, a maximum value will be displayed.
The maximum value of a certificate is the maximum amount available to cover room and tax, and this amount cannot be used for any other purpose. Certificates have no cash value and must be used in a single stay. Certificates that include dinner or breakfast do not cover service gratuities. Dinner and Breakfast vouchers have no cash value, are not available for in-room dining and are only valid during the dates of stay.
We strongly recommend that hotel guests make advance reservations at 1606 Restaurant and Oyster Bar. Vouchers must be redeemed at 1606 Restaurant and Oyster Bar at the conclusion of the dining experience. Vouchers cannot be redeemed at the hotel Front Desk.
Upon checking in, guests must present the original signed, dated, and coded certificate. The hotel is unable to accept photocopies. Recipients must be 21 years or older to redeem. ID is required at check-in.
Bookings are subject to availability and specific room numbers cannot be guaranteed. Certificate stays cannot be combined with any other packages or special offers. Blackout dates apply.

During Fiesta, we will require all registered overnight hotel guests to wear a color-coded wrist bracelet in order to determine who is an overnight guest. Wristbands will be required to enter the building and are to be worn for the duration of your stay. Wristbands will be required for access to the Birdseye Rooftop Pool & Bar. If you are attending a wedding during Fiesta weekend, we understand you may not want wristbands in your wedding photos. In this case, you are welcome to remove your wristband for wedding festivities. If a wristband is removed or damaged, you must bring your old wristband to the Front Desk and trade it in for a new wristband that will be placed on you for the remainder of your stay.
Check-in time begins at 3:00PM and check-out time is by 11:00AM. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer early check-ins and late check-outs during the week of Fiesta.
